As our name implies, the Red Deer River flows right through our ranch as we are located in the heart of the Alberta foothills and just minutes away from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Red Deer River provides one of the best natural white water experiences in Alberta with rapids Class I to IV. Former home of the Canadian White Water Championships, it is currently used by many rafting and adventure companies due to it's setting. Enjoy features like Jimbo's Staircase, The Nationals, Shark's Fin, or a 20 foot standing wave at The Double Ledge.
The rafting companies we work with provide staff with extensive training in Wilderness and Remote First Aid and are River Rescue Certified. You are met right here at the ranch or can take the short drive to meet the rafting company on the river at the put-in. These trips are great challenges for corporate groups or teams to learn how to work together in a different setting and then take that back to the office for more effective, efficient, and fulfilling work.
*For safety reasons there is an age minimum of 12 on rafting.
They will provide:
- all the guiding
- wetsuit
- wetsuit gloves
- socks
- high buoyancy life jackets
- helmets
- paddles
- splash jackets and pants
- self bailing boats
- dry bags for extra clothing
You need to bring:
- swim suit or shorts and a t-shirt (not cotton)
- warm sweater (wool or fleece)
- running shoes or sport sandals (no flip-flops!) and a change for footwear for after
- sun bloc
- bug repellant
- sun glasses
- cap or hat
- change of clothes
- a big dry towel
- large sense of adventure and fun.

Full Day White Water Rafting: $119.00
