There are many other foothills and mountain adventures to participate in while you are visiting us at our guest ranch, close to the Canadian Rockies.
Many self-propelled enthusiasts will want to bring their own white water kayaks or canoes to discover the ledges and waves on the Red Deer River. As well, there are plenty of trails right at the ranch for hiking or mountain biking and if you want to be right in the mountains for these types of adventures then the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch, next to Banff National Park, is only a 45 minute drive from here.
There are three very nice country golf courses east of us around the town of Sundre including the Sundre Golf Club, Coyote Creek Golf and RV Resort, and Forest Heights Golf Course.
And men, if you are looking at spending some purposeful time getting to know God better than you should consider enrolling in our Wild Spirit ministries 3 or 5 day Men's Out Trip. We will create a small group setting, and the trip will include working through scripture and using John Eldredge's book 'Wild at Heart' as well as the 'Wild at Heart Field Manual'. The purpose here is to facilitate time for men to seek God out and to read in His word and discern in your spirit the type of Godly man that He wants you to be, not the emasculated man the world is telling you to be. Time will be spent reading the Bible, discussing pointed questions together, praying with and for each other, and coming up with a game plan to follow when you get home. This would be a great trip for your already established men's group or Bible study, or if you are ready to step outside your box, for individuals to become part of the group that gathers here for the event.
